Background
Born in Rome to an Oromo Ethiopian mother and Somali father, raised in London, and educated in the UK — my background has always been defined by navigating complex environments and building across borders. I hold both British citizenship and Ethiopian nationality, giving me rare simultaneous access to international capital markets and on-the-ground operational relationships in Ethiopia.
My fluency in English, Italian, Somali, and Afan Oromo is not incidental — it reflects a genuine multi-cultural foundation that I bring to every conversation, negotiation, and partnership. In a sector where trust and local knowledge are decisive, this is a material advantage.
Through years of building networks across Ethiopia, I have developed direct access to multiple sectors of the Ethiopian economy — including agriculture, coffee export, and fintech banking. My relationships extend to senior figures including the District Director of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and contacts within the National Bank of Ethiopia. My current focus is mining, but these connections represent a significant pipeline of opportunity as Kaku Mining matures.
Before founding Kaku Mining, I studied Business Management at the University of Roehampton in London, before spending years in leadership, capital raising, and commercial roles across multiple industries and continents — building the skills that now underpin one of Ethiopia's most ambitiously structured junior mining programmes.

Raised over USD 1M for blockchain assets by building cross-border investor communities across multiple continents. Developed expertise in structuring alternative investment propositions for international capital.
Led sales teams across multiple countries as Regional Vice President at ACN — one of the world's largest direct selling companies. Drove revenue growth, market expansion, and team leadership across the UK and international markets.

A licensed alluvial gold producer operating under Ethiopia's Special Small-Scale Mining regime in the Kurmuk District — with a clear programme pathway to large-scale expansion. Capital is structured through a UK SPV under English law, with a Sharia-compliant profit participation model and no interest elements.
Beyond mining, extensive government and ministry relationships across Ethiopia — including direct access to senior banking officials at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and National Bank of Ethiopia — open significant future opportunities across agriculture, coffee export, and fintech banking sectors as the programme matures.
